Coors Club Championship Friendly Fishing MatchesSponsored by AND Following a successful series of club matches during last season Coors Angling Club are pleased to announce that a further series of friendly matches is planned for 2017/18 season. The emphasis of these matches is to get club members to meet and greet fellow members learn and teach and above all enjoy a day’s fishing with the banter and craic that a bunch of likeminded people can enjoy.Last season we felt that the peg fees did deter a number of members from entering the matches, so for this season’s matches there will be no peg fees for any of the friendly matches. There will however be an optional pool of £6.00 for any member who fancies a flutter. All pools money will be paid out after each match on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd basis.Match ProposalsThere will be twelve matches in total, split over 5 river matches, 4 canal matches, and 3 Middle lake matches.Coors Club Championship Match Dates 2017/18NB there are 8 matches in 2017 and 4 matches in 2018NB Should any of the river matches be cancelled due to flooding an alternative venue will be chosen and all anglers committed to the match will be notified. We will adopt the same points system that worked well last season only this season due to holidays and other commitments there will be an allowance made of 3 missed matches that won’t affect your points score.
